Babymoon vacation ideas? Somewhere warm where we can leave the hotel to experience local food?

A babymoon is a vacation for time together before a child rocks your world. I am 41/2 mos pregnant. I want a small place with pool or beach where we won’t be in danger if we want to venture out to try local food. I don’t want all-inclusive, crappy food. My ideas are Mexico, Miami… but I wouldn’t know a good safe town in Mexico.

   An all inclusive resort in Costa Rica would be my choice! Pool plus ocean. Massages. Great food.

   the place to be at
   the Queen Isabel Inn- in Port Isabel Texas
   the place is absolutely fantastic the Inn is 100 years old- this will be my 10th trip over there the beach is crossing the bridge
   Mexico is 20 minuets from there the food at the locals restaurants are the best
