   It’s an overwhelmingly Spanish speaking area. Mostly commercial. If you want to rent a room in a private house it would help if you spoke Spanish.

   It is not far from Miami airport. There are a number of small, cheap motels around the airport, especially the North side: 36th St., & in Miami Springs.

   Can’t the school help you? What school is it?

   they are a lot of cheap motels on 36 st. You can rent by the week there. Try Eastern Motel, Parkway motel. They are like $200 week. Also try on NW 42nd Ave in hialeah. There are some real cheapy motel there or on the other side of the river on Okeechobee Drive. You can rent by the week or month. But do a week first to see if you like it, then add more weeks as you want. Youll need a car though because even the clsoest stores are like 1 mile away. I mean fast food places are like one every block but if you want to get around you ll need wheels. And I hope you know spanish, almost no one knows english. ALmost no one, not in your hotel, not in the supermarkets.
