Tropic Garden Motel in Miami?
Bargain HotelsJessica. asked:
My boyfriend and I want to get a room here in november, the reviews for it seem really nice but its only a year or so old so i can’t seem to find any pictures of it. Has anyone been here and taken pictures or know where i can find some? The motel doesnt even have a website.

I was able to see a photo taken of the front of the hotel from the Google Maps StreetView feature. Info is limited about this place (not even any tripadvisor reviews) — so be wary!

Do some more research. I went to the link and saw the reviews; a couple looked like advertising hype, I’m sorry to be so cynical. Maybe it’s a nice place. I went to the link that showed the address and that’s not so impressive. It’s on SW 8th street- also known as Tamiami Trail and is a busy street but nothing important or attractive about it and no major attractions within the area. It is reasonably near a major highway, which makes it easier to get on the road to go somewhere.
This place is quite far from the Beaches–maybe a 30minute drive.
I live in Ft Lauderdale now, have lived many years in Miami and worked not far from this location. Not a notoriously bad area, but not impressive either. I’d say, unless the price is great, and all you want is a clean place to shower and sleep and you’ll be gone the rest of the time–then keep looking. Go on google earth and check out the locale.
