What are some cheap hotels/motels in St Louis, Mo?

I am hoping to travel to St Louis at the end of the month. I am not looking for 5 star accommodations. Anywhere that has a bed for the least amount as possible. Any suggestions?

Check out the following site which will show you the hotels in St. Louis. You can sort it by hotel rating or by price and determine what hotel looks look for your taste. I usually like to see the pictures and figure out what hotel looks the best, cheapest, and highest ranking for my price range.
Good Luck!

We always stay at a Quality Inn in Caseyville, IL, just off of I-64 a few minutes east of St Louis. It is only 2 minutes by car to the metrolink to go into St Louis. From there you can go downtown to ballgames, or to Forest Park to the zoo and Science Center, or other museums. We stay there when we go to Cardinals games. The hotel has an indoor pool and free continental breakfast, with make your own waffles and biscuits and gravy. Avoid the biscuits and gravy. Not very tasty. There is a Domino’s Pizza and McDonalds with playland next door, and a Cracker Barrel across the street. This is a safe area to stay.

Search here for cheap hotels
It provides search option like near a landmark etc
Also it provide searches from more than one source.
But beware … cheap hotels can be trouble some times so check reviews of the hotel you are going to book.
Check the exact location of hotel from google maps.

I would try Expedia or Priceline. Stay away from Hotwire, they have horrible customer service and I’ve known many people who have had difficulties working with them, including myself when I worked for a hotel.
