Can anyone reccommend a good, fairly cheap hotel in Ft. Myers Florida?
Cheap HotelsSara asked:
Im looking for a cheap but not trashy hotel in Ft. Myers for about 4 people in their mid 20s? Does anyone have any recommendations of where to (or where not to) stay. Preferably close to the beach and in walking distance to attractions.

Stayed at Best Western Beachside Resort on Estero Island / Ft. Myers Beach.
Close to all the Spring Breakers, yet kind of secluded on the far northern side of the island. Hotel is right on the beach and all rooms face the water.
Place was well kept up and staff was very freindly!
Nicer than the hotels jsut down the beach where all the breakers stay. Within walking distance of everything in the area!

I would say do get anything in mind. Keep your options open. Try online sights like Hotwire and Expedia etc. Try for places that are little cheaper branches of well known hotels. Like the Hilton Garden Inn. Im sure you wont have a problem finding a place near the beach or main attractions, Hotels thrive in those areas. If you really want to get cheap you should go at a time barely anyone vacations so then the prices on discount websides well drop below the surface. Also try shopping around on google, but never trust a place you’ve never heard of.
Have fun! ;]
